Lost and Found
Just a quick draft for 200 words. It's a Friday night, and I'm tired. What do you expect?
I lost strings, leads and microphones. Guitar nut came off.
E String.
You really like to wind up people don’t you?
A String.
Have you thought of getting another hobby? No.
D String.
Will you continue ignoring me? Yes.
G String.
You seem to be having fun. Not really.
B String.
Are you okay?
E string.
Done.
Found strings, leads and my microphone - assembled. Reattached guitar nut. Six string’s thirteen gauge silver D’Addarios. Tanglewood looks sexy with its scratched DIY style. Logic… none. Filled time scatting blanks instead. I could be writing…
The pimple popped from a missed glovebox. Ridiculous place to place music equipment. I retrieved my tuba harness in the same hour, different than I expected. It does the job. If it sits, I don’t miss the satchel strap. I hope I get returns from it… No. Maybe not.
Future’s present task of searching only prompts missiles or singles, not bingles of satchels, leads and microphones. The harness helps to lighten the load, the bell tolling from extra storage compartment. My fellow bassist will lose strings over it. At least he has four, not six. Could be different though, its not a Tanglewood, lost equipment or a harness.
